La Casa has a student committee that designs that year’s efforts to celebrate La Casa’s graduating college, graduate, and professional students. Each year in the spring during the last week of classes/early reading period, we host “Florece”. The community-at-large is invited to eat, take pictures, and share memories with each other. Since many undergraduate students move out for the summer before commencement festivities, this is an opportunity for students to celebrate in community.
La Casa Stoling and Award Celebration
During commencement weekend, the Center hosts the La Casa Stoling and Awards Celebration, where graduates register to participate and their guests join for dinner, remarks, a stoling procession, awards, and a night of dancing.
